FREELANCE RESEARCH CONSULTANT - 2022-23
Coordinated teams on a several research projects for a range of INGOs, involving conflict analysis, implementation of International Humanitarian Law, data visualisation and mapping.
AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL - RESEARCH CONSULTANT - 2021
Lead researcher/writer for a report on the impacts of armed conflict/airstrikes on communities in Southeastern Myanmar following the 2021 military coup. Worked alongside the Amnesty Crisis team including munitions experts. Conducted detailed in person and remote interviews, photographic documentation, statistical monitoring of casualties, injured and those displaced, while working in complex environments.
FILM DIRECTOR & PRODUCER - 2022
Project lead, director & cinematographer for a British Council Funded documentary filmed in 2021, following the military coup in Myanmar. This was mixed-media project shares stories, photos & reflections from people living in Mutraw, Karen State - as a dialogue between a local filmmaker & an anthropologist.

Wrote several investigative and commentary pieces for a range of media outlets, focusing on ethnic conflict in Myanmar.
VOLUNTARY CONSULTANT - KESAN - 2018-2020
Research and technical consultant on a multi-year project focusing on legacy land issues, military land seizures and human rights violations as part of a large infrastructural project in Myanmar.
